With more than 40 years in the hairdressing industry, Nat has built an outstanding reputation for his expertise and professionalism. However, it is the work he now undertakes that truly sets him apart. Specialising in wigs for people experiencing hair loss, particularly women undergoing chemotherapy, Nat provides far more than a hair replacement service – he offers comfort, dignity, confidence and hope.

Inspired by his own family's experience with cancer, Nat has created a safe, welcoming and understanding environment where clients can feel supported during an incredibly vulnerable chapter of their lives. He understands that losing your hair is about far more than appearance; it can have a profound impact on confidence, identity and emotional wellbeing. His kindness, empathy and patience help people regain a sense of themselves when they need it most.

Nat is also the local representative for the Little Princess Trust, supporting children experiencing hair loss by helping provide specialist wigs through this incredible national charity. His work with young people and their families demonstrates the same compassion and care that defines everything he does.

Every person who walks through Nat's door is treated with respect, understanding and genuine kindness. He takes the time to listen, reassure and guide families through a process that can often feel overwhelming. His wealth of experience, combined with his calm and caring approach, makes an immeasurable difference to those facing illness and its effects.

For many, Nat is not simply a hairdresser. He becomes a trusted source of support, someone who helps restore confidence, self-esteem and a sense of normality at a time when life feels anything but normal.

His dedication extends far beyond his profession. He quietly changes lives every day without seeking recognition, simply because he cares deeply about the people he helps. For his decades of service, his incredible generosity, and the compassion he shows to every individual and family he meets, I can think of no one more deserving of this recognition.

Nat's work is a reminder that sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are the quietest, and his impact on our community is truly immeasurable.
