Competition Time!

We’re proud to run a recognition awards competition celebrating the people and stories that make Wrexham such a brilliant place to live! We have fabulous prizes for all 24 winners.
 

The aim of the competition is simple: to shine a positive light on Wrexham. We do this by working alongside local independent businesses and by sharing the inspiring stories of our winners across social media, this website, and the local press each month. The competition is open to anyone aged 13 or over who has lived in the Wrexham Borough for at least two years.

Prizes

Each of the 24 winners will receive:

£100 cash prize

£75 in vouchers, kindly donated by local independents:

£25 from Lot 11 Café

£25 from The Bank Wine Bar & Bistro

£25 from The Fat Boar

Free 6 months car parking in Eagles Meadow

How the competition works

There are two award categories and you can apply or nominate someone for either.

Two winners are chosen each month (one from each category) for 12 months.

At the end of the year, all winners will be invited to a special awards evening celebration, where one overall winner will be announced.
