F. Jones Initiative 2025
Our third awards evening in October 2025, was an incredible evening, where we celebrated all the amazing Wrexham Recognition Award winners, a huge thanks to The Bank, Lot 11 Café, The Fat Boar, and Eagles Meadow, F Jones Food Services and Wrexham Lager for supporting the 2024/2025 competition.
We were once again joined by Sian Lloyd and Humphrey Ker, who gave up their time and were superb hosts choosing the overall winners for the evening.-
F Jones Initiative’s ‘Wrexham Spotlight Award’ for Talent, sponsored by Hotel Wrexham, was won by Laura Evison.
F Jones Initiative’s ‘Make a Difference Award’ celebrating Wrexham Community Spirit’, sponsored by Moneypenny, was won by Fern Evans.
F Jones Initiative’s ‘Make Your Mark Award’, for a Wrexham business or organisation, sponsored by Jones’s Fish & Chip Shop, was won by The Wrexham Litter Pickers.
F Jones Initiative’s ‘Be Awesome Award’, for sustained fundraising, sponsored by the Lemon Tree, was won by Stephanie Butterton.
The evening was held at the Maesgwyn Hall, and all the winners were treated to a delicious three course dinner, provided by Wrexham Lager Beer Company Ltd, F Jones Food Services, and Vimto Soft Drinks. The awards were donated by Mijmoj Design Ltd.
Charity raffle prizes were donated by Wrexham AFC, Laura Evison, Wrexham Lager and The Pant Yr Ochain, raising just over £1200 divided between our two charities Hope House Children’s Hospices and Nightingale House Hospice.
A huge thanks also to Katie Skellon and Emma Jones, from Skellon Events and Em Creative Designs for all their support.
