Our sponsorship started around 8 years ago when Jonno (Operations Manager) mentioned to his father (Chris – Owner of the company) about starting to sponsor grassroot sports. They started with Jonno’s son – Archie sponsoring his rugby team – Wrexham Rugby Club & also his daughter Connie with her Girls Rugby Team (Valkyries)

The reason behind wanting to get behind grassroot sports stems from Jonno growing up playing sports and Chris was the chairman of the football team Jonno played for, so they both know the importance of having support for the teams to progress.

We feel as a company it is important to give back to the community as being a local family run business we know how hard it can be to get the support that’s needed. We want to give young people a purpose, so they aren’t just sat indoors. Hobbies like this gives them a reason to get out and about, which we are proud to put our name towards.

Since then, as a company, we have seen how much grassroots especially need more and more help from kits to equipment which has seen us sponsor 10 different teams from Rugby including girls Rugby, Football, Horse-racing, Motorsport, Cricket.

All these teams we have sponsored have a personal connection to the family which makes it that bit more special to us.

As a dedication to these teams we sponsor, we have recently had 2 of our trailers fully wrapped showcasing the teams.
Also, we currently have a new project that we have been working on with This is Wrexham, where we approached 2 local high schools, giving them the opportunity to design an image for the sides of one of our new trailers and enter a drawing competition. There will be 1 winner from both schools. We have asked them to put in a picture, what they think of when they think of Wrexham, like local landmarks etc, this will then be wrapped on our trailer and the winners received a prize from us and both schools received £500 book vouchers. The rest of the drawings showcased in Ty Pawb.

Again this is our way of giving back to the community which we will continue to do and are immensely proud of.
