Today’s dreams are tomorrow’s success!
A huge congratulations to 14 year @ysgolclywedog pupil Alissa Paddock, who is the latest winner of a 2023/24 Wrexham Recognition Award.
Overcoming her shyness to compete in ballet solos en pointe, Alissa is the youngest member of @Deltadanceacademy to do so! Also completing her foundation exam, again one of the youngest at Delta to do so. She has also just won her ballet solo, won best ballet overall mark and best classical performer at the Flintshire Festival of Dance Competition.
Alissa competes regularly, not only as a part of a troupe, winning many competitions, competing at the @National Eisteddfod to win second place, @britainsgottalent, also performing @thepalacetheatremanchester and the @britishtroupechampionships several times and various pantomimes.
From a nine weeks premature baby, weighing just over three pounds, to a young lady full of determination and resilience, radiating talent, we are delighted to highlight Alissa this month.
Well done, Alissa, keep going, believe in yourself, you are amazing!
